Secure FTP

Momentum Systems’ Secure File Transfer™ client-server software supports Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL) transfers with X.509 Certificates of Authentication. This
Internet delivery option provides an SSL secured mailbox where the client
pushes files to and pulls files from the server. Included is support for
checkpoint-restart, selectable server mailbox encryption, distributed
credentials validation, selectable server port assignment and both a GUI-based
and Command-Line client. An unlimited client distribution license is included.
An SSH FTP option is also available.
FTP with Data Encryption
Momentum Systems offers automated FTP software, AutoFTP, that allows Secure
Network Gateway users to push files to and pull files from any IP accessible
FTP server on the Internet or on the wide area network (WAN). Secure Network
Gateway controls and manages the Internet file exchanges with the remote
endpoints and no Momentum Systems supplied software is required at the remote
endpoint. To secure the transfer, Momentum Systems provides a Windows based
encryption software package that can be distributed to each remote endpoint.
The
McAfee E-Business Server is an excellent alternative for PGP
encryption.
Secure WEB Mailbox
Momentum Systems’ Secure WEB Mailbox offers SSL file transfers over the
Internet, without the need for client software. A complete configurable Mailbox
Web Site is provided. Secure WEB Mailbox allows users to upload and download
files via HTTP or HTTP/S with a Web browser. Secure WEB Mailbox allows users to
view unprocessed files to ensure that delivery was successful. The customizable
Web Site allows each user to create defined fields without scripting or coding.
For secure transfers, a X.509 Certificate of Authentication can be obtained
from any Certificate Authority. Once the Certificate is stored on the Momentum
Systems’ server all file exchanges with the browsers will be HTTP/S enabled.
Microsoft’s Intelligent Internet Server (IIS) is required.
Automated E-mail (Inbound and Outbound)
Transfer and receive files and messages with Momentum Systems’ Automated E-mail
option. Support for both inbound and outbound e-mail is provided and data can
be sent as message text or as file attachments. This delivery option also
allows e-mail to be used for exception notification or confirmation of receipt.
An SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server and Intranet/Internet access is
required.
Back-end Integration Whichever above option you select, you will also
need to integrate the front-end Internet delivery service with your back-end
applications and processors. Most commercially available Web servers require
coding or scripting to accomplish this integration. With Momentum Systems'
software, files can be automatically exchanged between the back-end environment
and the Secure Network Gateway server. Given that all Momentum software is a
GUI based service, it does not require program coding or scripting.
